Kiriburu: An unforgettable place in my life

This month I went to Kiriburu to see my parent, this was after 2 years. This journey was very emotional for me because of lots of reason - one of them was my father has retired from Kiriburu. He was working as School Teacher. I know after this I will never visit Kiriburu in my life because all the employees have to leave this place because you can't buy private property there. I spent my childhood at this place and lots of sweets memories I have abt this place. This place is very special to me and to all those who has spent time there. This place is very small, basically it is a Iron ore mines of RMD SAIL; two small towns are there Kiriburu and Meghahatuburu. In "Ho" Langauge "Kiri" means Elephant and "buru" means Forest - the Forest of Elelphants. This place is in Saranda range of forest.

The social life there is very amicable, we have never find conflict on the basis of religion, cast etc etc.. We celebrate all the festivals with harmony, love and affection. You can find small india over there. You can find people from all of India around your neighbourhood. Even though there is a diversity in the society but social harmony is very well there.

Till early 90s the climate was cold there as it is situated on the hills. There was heavy rain falls for 9 months in a year. But in last 15 years the weather has changed due to heavy deforestation and now it is little bit hot.

In our child hood we used to celebrate Durga pooja, Holi, chatt in a big way. Whole Kiriburu used to celebrate these festival in a big way. Still these festivals are one of the major festivals of Kiriburu - Meghahatuburu.

Apart from this, there were a popular trend for picnic during year end, the popular places were Thalkobaad, Padinaala, Bokna nala, Pundul, Chota Nagra, Prospecting Jharna, where we used to go for picnic with our parents or class mates.

I studied from Project Central school Kiriburu, which used to be one of the good school during our time. This school has produced lots of good student who are into different fields currently and most of them are leaders in their field. Similarly there are other good school like KV Meghahatuburu, Bihar School and Orissa state school which has also produced very good student and they are leading in their field. The basic thing is all of us have come from a very small & a very beautiful place and we are competing with others and we are successful this is because the basics which we have learnt in our child hood.

I want to write a lot about Kiriburu ...may be some time later..
One thing is for sure this place will remain very close to my heart.

Leadership in India

60 years back we got independence from British rule. Unfortulately Independence has come up with scar of partition. British India has divided into India & Pakistan. And this division leads to genocide at western and eastern sector of British India. Every one has lots of expectations from the Indian leadership..in reality we have not achieved so much with respect to other countries who are at same level as India during 1947 - 48. I am not negative here..but overall picture of India is really not good - we are divided on the basis of religion, casts, language and the national politics are revolving around these things. Basically our leadership is nothing but a bunch of opportunist who don't want us to unite, they want to "divide us and rule". Curruption is deeply rooted into the government machinery. Sometimes it is really scary for "AAM AADMI", the situation around us forced us to think that are we really secured. Security is the basic need of human kind and if this is not available to "AAM AADMI" then we have to rethink about our national policies, vision etc.

How we can get rid of this ? THere is no straight forward answer to this but at the same time we can say that there is a solution which required contribution from large masses to eliminate some of the "national devils" like castism, cast based reservation, division on language, religion based division etc.

FOr example : To remove cast based reservation we can implement the following, the economic and social support should be given to those who are very poor ( irrespective of casts, religion ) and help them in their education and day to day life so that they can be at par with others in all aspects and yes their would be some amount of reservation in job as well. THis way we can create examples for whole world. Today if we see our reservation policies it is not reaching to everyone and this policy has no future except to create more division in society.

We must not forget that this country is belongs to multi ethenic and multi religious society. No matter what is our language, what is our religion, what is our cast ....this country belogns to all of us. And if we understand that and try formulate the policies which would be beneficial to "all" than "majority" then we will able to create right kind of environment in this country. Then we will able to resolve lots of issues which are just in "As-IS" form and our great politician are trying to take advantage of them.

In one sentence if we want to see our country is going in a right direction then each one of us has to own the problems and we have to contribute towards resolving those problem on national level. We just can't igonre these problem because we are "Aam aadmi" - this is not our job ..this is politician's job. This kind of attitude has to be changed in our mindset. Ofcourse "Lead India" initiative is a "nice" initiative taken by Times group but we have to take such initiative on large scale. then only we can make difference.

In my opinion we require a new society which should be without any caste, religion, language and other so called Social dividers. This society should work only for the benefits of country and each Indian citizen should activiely participate in such initiative and make sure that all the issues should be resolved in a proper way.
Is this possible?

Relationships: An Unpredictable...

Two days back I got a call ..it was my friend's call. We are talking to each other after couple of months. She has spoken to me with great difficulty because she was depressed, shocked and very sad. The talk was continued for 10-12 minutes. she is dear friend of mine. After talking to her I was very sad. I was just thinking about love, life and relationships..have these golden words lost their "real" meaning. Now a days each and every relationship is starting from selfishness, greed and ending at same note. We are always in hurry, we don't have time to understand anyone not even ourselves. We don't know what we want from life, where we are going. We are just keep on going and loosing everyone one by one.
Now a days "I" has become predominant and this is the reason for all kind of sufferings. to be very frank we are living in most unethical society, where "trust", "respect", "friendship" and "life" has no value. They are meaningless, valueless. I feel mankind is going into self destructing mode. People are thinking that each and every act of theirs are for their benefit but actually it is for none.
You can be son/daughter, sister/brother, father/mother, friend, husband/wife for someone in this world. One day you will find that in reality you are alone....and this is because you have lost all the atributes of humanity..you are dead ....you "died" before your death. This is one of the ugly face of life..which no one understands But.....they are keep going in the same direction - A directionless journey.

Benares: The city of Temple

One thing which I don't want to forget in my life is - my stay in Kashi - the city of Lord Shiva, the city of temple. This City has given me a lot. I feel this city has given a lot to all who come here with right intension. The ghats, the temples, the universities...beautiful combination. I studied in Banaras Hindu University. One of the largest university in the world. Reachable for every one who are good at study. For my graduation I hardly paid any money but the kind of facilities it has, is amazing. All the hostels in the university are almost 90+ year old, they are very big. The facilities in the university is unparallel and reachable for everyone. The shape of the university is like a "geometrical protector". All the roads are parallel to each other. On one road you can find Hostels, while on other roads you would find departments.

BHU has given prominent leaders in various fields. As a student It is difficult to forget those days in BHU.

The ghats of the river Ganges is amazing. You can spend hours and hours very easily. The environment at ghat is spritual, You will feel that you are connected to oneself. In early morning you can see the divine sunrise at Assi ghat. Specially the tea of Raju bahiya at Assi ghat.

There are various thing to remember for example puri- jalebi at chachi's small shop near Lanka, Pehlwaan ki lassi. In campus Bihari's gulab jamoon ( near VT) and of course "lanketing" ( All who stayed at Benares knows very much what is the meaning of Lanketing :) ).

I have spent 6 golden years of my life and Benares. In this period I have came across some very good human beings who have impacted my life in bigger way.

Today I miss the Ghats, the Temple and the rive Ganges very much. I want to return to this place but I don't know when I will do so...

N-Deal: What is happening?

Very sad to know that our great politicians are creating the problem in the name of country's integrity & sovereignty. Have they really understand the deal or they are just creating problem. In my view they are just creating problem. I don't think the left wing of our country are serious about strategic relationship between US & India. They are worrying about their vote bank..that's all.

Have we really understand who are friends and who are foes in international politics. I don't think so. Still we have not very good relationship with our great neighbours, we have already "back stabbed" by them in past. and at present they are "big threat" for us.

By seeing the couple of recent events in our country, I would say we need to rethink that whether our political system's structure is correct. Because the kind of MPs who are going to parliament are of no use. They are more interested in their vote banks rather than country. They are dividing us on the basis of caste, religion for their personal gain.

We need open debate on this across the country. We have to change the face of our political system so that we can send right set people to the parliament. Otherwise we will be paying "big" penalty for this in near future.
